#Steinbergs wavelab pro#
Both the Pro and Elements editions now allow you to upload content directly to popular podcasting platforms such as Spreaker, Podbean, Soundcloud, Buzzsprout and Castros. It now offers the complete feature set from WaveLab Cast, as well as some plug-ins from the Pro edition, including the DeEsser, Expander and PingPong Delay. First, it is easy to import, record, and arrange a podcast with what was already in Wavelab, but in addition to that, now we can find in the track Inspector the Clean and Enhance sections. It fully supports VST 2 and 3 plugins for. Wavelab Pro 11 inherits the same functions and possibilities as Wavelab Cast, which are amazing for podcast creators. WaveLab was started in 1995 and it is mainly the work of one programmer, Philippe Goutier.1 Audio can be edited as a single file, a series of files or a multitrack 'montage'. Its analysis, metering and monitoring tools are second to none, and arguably the equivalent of spending the cost of the app on third-party analysis plug-ins.
#Steinbergs wavelab upgrade#
The smaller version of the software is popular among musicians, broadcasters and podcasters. WaveLab is a digital audio editor and recording computer software application for Windows and macOS, created by Steinberg. WaveLab is one of a surprisingly small number of cross-platform, fully featured wave editors out there, and it’s still one of the best. WaveLab 9.5 montages will open in 11 but once you open in 11, you can’t go back to 9.5 The licensing system will be changing at some point this year and I can’t give a concrete answer on what it looks like when you upgrade right now but for the time being, whatever computer has the USB dongle for WaveLab Pro will work. WaveLab Elements 11 also gets its share of new features. Always moving with the times, Steinbergs. Note, in particular, the new Master Transport Panel across the bottom, the better use of colour for highlighting, the Speaker Configuration section at bottom left, and the new MBIT dither options. Other improvements in WaveLab Pro 11 include the SuperVision analyzer from Cubase and Nuendo, an updated Track Inspector, multi-core processing support for audio montages and many more enhancements. Version 8 of Wavelab has, in my opinion, the clearest and slickest GUI to date. It also features DeReverb, which was exclusively developed for WaveLab, and the new LIN Pro dithering plug-in from MAAT Audio. Very nice! Speaking of plug-ins, the Pro version comes with a bunch of new ones, including Frequency 2, Squasher, Imager, Quadrafuzz v2, MixConvert V6 and VST AmbiDecoder.
SuperVision Analyzer Plug-in parameter automationĪ new automation panel has also been added to WaveLab 11 Pro, which provides parameter automation with clip envelopes for the parameters of VST3 plug-ins.
